Testimonials

Attending the Cost Allocation and Advanced Cost Allocation training by HSFO over the past six years has provided a good, solid knowledge base for ensuring that we maximize Federal Funds where appropriate, and properly interpret the applicable OMB circulars. The HSFO staff are professional, knowledgeable and engaging. I would recommend their courses for anyone involved in governmental accounting. I’m proud to have HSFO Completion certificates hanging on my wall.

I recently attended a HSFO Cost Allocation session in Oklahoma City, the information was timely and gave us some good ideas to review on how the State of Wisconsin – Department of Health Services currently handles its cost allocation.

In my twenty years of government experience, the old adage of “doing more with less” continues to be more and more true. HSFO has been an amazing partner to help both me and the state of Arizona develop ideas to stretch the limited dollars in human services as far as possible. Additionally, collaboration with HSFO has allowed Arizona to learn how to access over a hundred million federal dollars that otherwise seemed unavailable. I have been to several HSFO trainings and the national conferences. All of these events are well organized and tailored to the specific financial issues of the moment. It is difficult to quantify or put into words the benefit Arizona and its citizens have received from our involvement and relationship with HSFO. I look forward to continuing to problem solve with all of the amazing people that participate in HSFO from across the nation.
